If you are experiencing “Can’t find any matching row in the user table” when creating a new user on Heidi, you are not alone.
Here’s a sample screenshot how it looks like.
The problem actually lies on how Heidi execute the command. Old version of Heidi had a bug because of some missing query.
If you don’t want to write your own SQL query, the solution to this problem is to upgrade your copy to the latest version of Heidi.
Here’s the download link of Heidi:
After downloading Heidi version 7, I was able to create a user right away without experiencing the “Can’t find any matching row in the user table” anymore.
From version 6 to version 7, there are a total of 450 revisions made. Some notable changes are:
- Threaded query execution, including a button to stop long running queries
- User manager: Support SSL settings – this is a new feature.
- Finally fix NULL-error for FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS in SQL export
- Support on MSSQL. Allowing to execute queries, edit grid data and to do a data-only export.
HeidiSQL runs fine on Windows (XP, Vista, 7) and on any Linux with Wine (Wine Is Not an Emulator – meaning of Wine).
