About a month ago, the Huawei Band 4 entered the Philippine market along with a line of smart watches and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one. A lot of smart bands are being sold on the market for health and fitness enthusiasts, but this minimalist look packed with the latest technology from Huawei will surely make you drool and grab one for yourself. Here is a quick review on what the Huawei Band 4 offers.
Read our verdict too on this smart watch, so make sure to read until the end of the review.
The Huawei Band 4 comes in a sleek, minimalist design with three colors available: Amber Sunrise, Sakura Pink, and Graphite Black. I got the one in Graphite Black. It is very light, at 24mg and features a square display screen, that is the biggest in the market. It has three pre-installed watch faces but unfortunately does not support custom ones. It has five brightness levels, which can help prolong the battery life. It also features a small “home” button that matches the overall minimalist look of the band.
The Huawei Band 4 functions both as a watch and a fitness tracker. It is water-resistant. It measures the steps you take in a day, with the calories burned. It supports different activities such as running, walking, cycling, cross-training, and rowing. It also has a Sleep Tracker and it can measure your current heart rate.
Huawei Health App Synchronization
It works with the Huawei Health app, where it syncs the data real time from the band and allows you to get daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.
Battery and Charging
The Huawei Band 4 has a 91mAh battery and when fully charged, it can last for 7-9 days, depending on the features that you use. It charges easily, without having to use a cord. Simply remove the lower strap and plug it into any USB power adapter. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to charge the band.
At Php1890, the Huawei Band 4 would be a good purchase. It packs a lot of important features for health and fitness enthusiasts. And with its sleek design, it looks stylish too.
